From Strategy to Ecosystem: The XJTLU Practice of Education + AI across Leadership, Pedagogy, and Technology

As AI reshapes higher education, institutions face a common challenge: moving from strategic aspiration to tangible, sustainable implementation. This talk shares the Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) experience in building an AI-driven educational ecosystem through its 'Education + AI Strategic Framework'. Drawing on two practices that both received the IIOE Higher Education Digitalisation Pioneer Case Award, this talk offers practical, transferable insights into how leadership, pedagogy, and technology converge to reshape the educational paradigm and deliver richer academic outcomes.
