ABSTRACT
Education plays an essential role in achieving United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, there are only scattered studies on monitoring how parties holistically promote SDGs through their curriculum. The main purpose of this workshop is to investigate the connection of educational resources to SDGs education. Particularly, we want to know how educational materials can be classified according to SDGs. In the workshop, we use machine learning approaches to classify contents with SDGs, and then analyse the results based on visualisations.
This workshop is also supported by:
-
UGC Special Grant for Strategic Development of Virtual Teaching and Learning – Inter-institutional Collaborative Activities Projects
-
IEEE Region 10 Education Activities Committee
No machine-learning experiences, but basic Python programming experiences, are needed.
